Living Memories– Unforgettable

OBITUARY “Goitsemang Sandra ________, unknown age, died at unknown age, she is survived by her husband, and 5 kids, she was known for her beautiful smile and her words that touched and changed lives of so many. She always strives for generosity and love, may her loving dearest soul rest in peace.” It begins here. So many people do not appreciate nor recognize someone’s good deeds until their gone. People know about the things you have done for them after your death. Some do not even acknowledge the little things you do for them whilst you are still alive.   We often strive to make a living out of life and tend to forget live a life of living memories. We are vulnerable to the dis-ease of, “You will never know what you have until it’s gone.” We forget to appreciate the people we meet in life and embrace them to create unforgettable memories. The purpose of life is to love, live, learning and laugh. However, we tend to forget that easily and be blinded by the contrar

Reflections (Feed-backs & Feed-forwards)

Feed-backs & Feed-forwards Do you ever think about how you got to where you are and where you are going? Or are you more worried about your past (what you did and what you didn’t do) and future (what you should be doing and what you shouldn’t do)? There’s a phrase that says, “ you are what you eat,” but I believe that we become what we feed, whether backward, forward or sometimes leave things down to do nothing or throw them up to see how far/higher they can get. The past is a result of what we do in a moment, today, which is determined by the tick of a clock. It may be 10:45:11 am but 10:45:09 am is in the past. History however, is a derivative of the past or it doesn’t only determine the past but the origins of an aspect or object by reference of the past. Now, have you pictured your life as a non-moving see-saw, the presence being the pivot and you controlled by a treadmill called the future, which controls your life and its extinction. Not a happy ending right?  When

I received a call from above

– Matthew 13: 16 &35     To invent is to produce something new. To establish is to bring about or to ordain. When you were invented in the potter’s hands, an intention about an invention (you) was established. To invent something is to be creative and to be creative about radical change into the sphere of living. To think of it, as human beings, we are inventions invented to reinvent. Just as the wonders of the world were established, as humans we ought to establish that which is intended about our lives upon human nature and our fellow soldiers. We are fighting ourselves. For us to have Seven Wonders of the World, inventions made establishments, even though we have more than seven wonders. I, myself, am a wonder. When I think of these wonders, I begin to wonder how they came to existence. It took 9 years for the 39.6m tall Christ the Redeemer for it to be what it is. It took 8 851.8km long Great Wall of China nearly 104 000 week to be the greatest wall of all. Mor

Reflections (Feedings & Breedings)

The phenomenon of reflection is often associated with mirrors, seeing the copies of our beings in a glass which blocks transparency. This kind of reflection is mostly used  to see ourselves through eyes of a glass, to find faults and an increased embrace of vanity. Which brings me back to a movie I re-watched yesterday, Divergent. In this movie, there exists a place where people were divided into groups. These groups are called factions, they were divided into 5 factions : Abnegation, Amity, Erudite, Dauntless, and Candor. There's one faction amongst all of the above which focuses on vanity and mirrors, i.e. Abnegation. In this world mirrors aren't things that their world evolve around. One looks at his/her image for a short period of time, probably less than a minute, unlike "we" do. It is that way as they don't want to practise vanity. This movie had me thinking, to a point I even thought about vanity itself in a spiritual, psychological and physical way. O
